How do status actions work?

Status Action work flow can be managed for the following modules in TBS:

  • Customers
  • Orders
  • Trouble Tickets
  • Traditional Products
  • Integrated Products

Status Actions support the workflow flow-down to products within certain modules. This is optional depending on client preference.

An example might be that applying a disconnect action at the customer level can flow all the way down to all products on the account. In addition, statuses can be flagged to prevent customers from logging in to the system if the customer is in said status.

How do we automatically disconnect all products when we disconnect a customer?

Products can be automatically disconnected when a customer is disconnected by going to the Workflow Actions on that specific customer.

The Workflow Actions window will appear with a drop down of Available Actions. Select Disconnect. Once selected, the window will populate with Disconnect options. Enter the Desired Disconnect Date, when selecting "Which Items?" select apply to all items.

This feature applies the disconnected status to all products on that account.

Note: The Disconnect Reason is optional.
