Customers, Products, and Charges

When on a customer product and viewing the All Charges & Plans tab, there is now a Move Charges and Plans button availability. Clicking the Move Charges and Plans button will open the panel to select which charges and / or plans you would like to move and what product they should be moved to.

 

Commissions

When running commission reports, the Agent filter now includes Agent Name, Agent ID, and Agent Company to provide additional information for the end user.

The number of custom fields that can be created for SPIFF commissions has been increased from 5 to 10. These fields are hidden by default.

The Agent Transactions/Adjustments functionality has been expanded to included the ability to associated a transaction or adjustment with a customer product. Additionally, the adjustments can be added from the Customer Information page, Products Commission page, and on individual products.

Viewing and adding adjustments from the Agent Transactions/Adjustments Page

LOCATION: Channel Support / Commissions Control Panel / Pre-Commissions

The new Transactions/Adjustments page has the updated grid for adding, editing, and viewing all adjustments.

  1. New button launches window for adding new adjustments

  2. Filter row with filtering for each column. Multiple filters can be applied at one time. The clear button will remove all filters applied

  3. Results grid displaying all adjustments. When entering a filter, this will automatically be filtered down to matching results.

Adding a new adjustment:

  1. Click the New button in the column header

  2. Add a description (optional)

  3. Add the adjustment amount (required)

  4. Select the agent from the dynamic dropdown (required)

  5. Select a customer from the dynamic dropdown (optional) Note: This will only include customers the chosen agent is assigned to

  6. Select a product from the dynamic dropdown (optional) Note: This will only include products on customers the agent is assigned to

  7. Set the effective date for future commissions. This should only be used if the adjustment should not be applied to the next possible commissions run (optional)

  8. Save entry

 

Additional Transactions & Adjustments locations - Customer Information

LOCATION: Customer / Customer Information / Account Information / Agents

To view or add adjustments directly from the Customer Information page, select the hyper linked text under the Agents panel. If there are unpaid adjustments already on the customer, the total will display here. When adding a new adjustment, the customer field will be pre-filled. The Agent field will only display agents assigned to the customer. If no agents are assigned to the customer, all agents will display on this list.

Resolved Issues

  • Customers, Products, and Charges

    • When disconnecting a product, additional date validation has been added to ensure no charge activation dates are set to after the disconnect date being entered. (320145)

  • Billing

    • When performing quick bills in prior releases, prorated charges that also had disconnect dates before the next billing date did not take the disconnect date into account. Proration would occur from the activation date up to the start of the next billing date. Now, disconnect dates are being accounted for and charges will prorate from activation date to disconnect date. (322846)

  • Portals

    • When using agent branding, the customer portal will now display the agent name and address in the bottom banner. Previously this displayed the name and address from the customer base in TBS. (314546)

    • Previously, when exporting the Tasks grid from the Customer Portal, an error occurred. This has been resolved and the grid can now be exported from the Customer Portal.(318046)

  • Tasks

    • A bug causing some notes to not display in the notes tab for the Task and the Customer has been resolved. (318699)
