Personal User Settings

Setup ► Users & Security ► Users ► Select User

Purpose

Users can manage their personal user information via the User Settings tools in TBS. These are located via the menu in the top right of TBS system and is available from every screen.

Users can manage their preferences for where they land when loading a customer or Task, update their password and flag whether they can work Tickets, Notes and Tasks if they have User Security Update access.

They can also Impersonate themselves if desired and view Metrics on any changes to their User Settings record.

Note: These same features are also available via the Users maintenance tool for Admin users that have access to Security Maintenance module.

Note: If a user doesn't have access to the Security Maintenance module, they will not see the Assignments or Additional User Information sections.

 

Change Password:

Password Rules

  • The password must be at least 8 characters in length
  • The password may not contain spaces, single quotes (‘), double quotes (“), or brackets (<,>)
    • Note: If the Force Password Change? checkbox is checked, the user will be required to change their password at next login
