How do I attach a document to a client?

A Document can be attached to a client by clicking the Documents tab on that customer.

The user will have two options: Direct File Upload and Link To An Online Document.

  1. To use the Direct File Upload, simply drag & drop your file into the dashed area, or use the select button, select your file(s), and click the Add Document(s) button.
  2. The Link To An Online Document simply enter the information below of URL and Title and click the Add Document(s) button.

What type of documents can I upload?

The types of Documents that can be uploaded include:

  • Office files (xls, doc, ppt, xlsx, docx, pptx, vsd, vsdx)
  • Text files (csv, txt, html, htm, xml)
  • Viewer files (rtf, pdf)
  • Audio Video files (wav)

How do I upload forms for TBS users and customers to view and download?

TBS users can view and download uploaded forms for all three TBS Portals. These Include:

Agent Portal Download Forms View - shows two Page Headings - Documents can be uploaded and set to show on the Agent Portal. Hyperlinks are used to allow users to download the document directly from the Download Forms page. If an Agent has a Billing Group assigned to them, they will only see forms/documents that have been designated as available for that group (set within the Download Forms Manager).

Wholesale Portal View - Documents can be uploaded and set to show on the Wholesale Portal. Hyperlinks are used to allow users to download the document directly from the Download Forms page. Documents can be filtered by the Billing Group assigned to Wholesale customer if desired using the Download Forms Manager.

Standard Customer Portal View - Documents can be uploaded and set to show on the Customer Portal. A Forms menu will appear if there are Customer documents to show. Hyperlinks are used to allow users to download the document directly from the Download Forms page. Documents can be filtered by the Billing Group assigned to customer if desired using the Download Forms Manager.
